Farmer John's Farm

Description

Farmer John’s Farm was written in commemoration of a farmer who died tragically. John and his wife had the ambition of inviting children from the city to their farm in order to learn about country life. The story is about living their dream.

The children arrived by bus at the farm and were warmly welcomed by the farmer’s wife who provided them with biscuits and drinks. Farmer John then took the children into the farmyard, where he taught them about the farm animals, such as chickens, cows, sheep, pigs, geese, and rabbits. He explained the parts that the cat and the sheep dog played in the running of the farm.

Following a fun day, the children said their goodbyes, boarded their bus, and returned home.
