Sathya Amorik

Sathya Amorik is a Sri-Lankan Tamil. Although born into a devout Hindu family, Sathya’s approach towards God was more spiritual than religious-ritualistic. She displayed little interest towards traditions and customs, preferring to engage God through childlike chat sessions instead.

Over the years, her relationship with God deepened as she turned to Him for refuge in difficult times. However, her spiritual journey took a newfound direction through a chance reading of Paramahansa Yogananda’s 1946 classic, Autobiography of a Yogi, which describes the yogi’s life story and his concept of Kriya Yoga meditation. Sathya became an ardent follower of his teachings, and soon began to have divine experiences that not only restored her inner peace but unearthed a latent talent as well — writing.

Presently, Sathya resides in Singapore.
